What is a Temporary Card?
What can I do if I'm staying in Bossier Parish long-term but don't have a permanent address in Bossier Parish?
There can be several reasons you might be staying within Bossier Parish long-term but do not have a permanent Bossier Parish address: if you're here for several months for work, if you're staying in a hotel for a while, if you're in a rehab facility, if you're here on a government assignment, if you're staying in a shelter, or any other reason you don't currently have a permanent address. If any of these situations apply to you, ask us about a temporary card!
Do Library Cards Expire?
Library cards expire every three years, regardless of your status as an active user or inactive user. This is simply so we can keep our database as up-to-date as possible. Library cards may be renewed, in person or online, free of charge.
