KINDERGARTEN READINESS

This program is designed for children ages 3, 4, and 5.  A child may join the program after their 3rd birthday.  A child transitions out of the program after their 6th birthday.

Welcome to Lil' Literacy Learners' Storytime!  This storytime is geared towards preschool-aged children where they'll learn to sit, listen, share and communicate with others their age in a fun environment.

We offer a quiet, relaxing space where patrons can read, enjoy sensory objects and activities, and listen to lo-fi music. The sensory room is designed for individuals who may be socially averse but still wish to utilize this calming environment.

Ready to get the wiggles out? Join us for Wiggle Wednesdays for this high energy storytime where we will dance, sing, and read a fun book. 

It's Family Flannel Fluency Hour! After an energizing Lil' Literacy Learners' Storytime, have fun with flannel (felt) story pieces as a family!

Join us every 4th Friday of each month for Creative Fridays! We have revamped the program to include everyone!

Keep Calm and Carry Yarn

Calling all crocheters, knitters, weavers, and anyone else who works with yarn.  Join us for 60 minutes of yarning and chatting!  Bring your supplies and work on an existing project or start a new one.

Bring your trading cards to trade or play the Pokémon® Trading Card game with others.  Don't have a deck? The library has basic decks and training sheets to borrow.

The library will be providing LEGOsⓇ that kids can build with, so come join us for a fun time!

Come unwind and decompress after school with some relaxing art therapy, free snacks included! Enjoy diamond painting, try your hand at a crochet kit, or relax with some coloring and origami!
