Welcome to Lil' Literacy Learners' Storytime!  This storytime is geared towards preschool-aged children where they'll learn to sit, listen, share and communicate with others their age in a fun environment. 

Visit the library for a cup of warm coffee, relax while coloring, or complete a puzzle.

We offer a quiet, relaxing space where patrons can read, enjoy sensory objects and activities, and listen to lo-fi music. The sensory room is designed for individuals who may be socially averse but still wish to utilize this calming environment.

The Benton staff will facilitate an academically-themed, hands-on hour of activities for area homeschooled students.

Sign up for Sit and Fit, a chair exercise that is low impact and low mobility, but helps to keep you active!

Sit and Fit meets on the first Tuesday and third Thursday of each month. For adults only.

Registration is required. 

Ready to get the wiggles out? Join us for Wiggle Wednesdays for this high energy storytime where we will dance, sing, and read a fun book. 

It's Family Flannel Fluency Hour! After an energizing Lil' Literacy Learners' Storytime, have fun with flannel (felt) story pieces as a family!

Visit the library every Wednesday from 1:30-3:30 P.M. inside the East 80 Meeting room, for our Discovery Play program!

Keep Calm and Carry Yarn

Calling all crocheters, knitters, weavers, and anyone else who works with yarn.  Join us for 45 minutes of yarning and chatting!  Bring your supplies and work on an existing project or start a new one.

Watch anime with fellow fans! New episodes or movies each meeting -snacks provided.

Meetings on the FIRST and THIRD THURSDAY each month from 3-4 PM.

Teens can watch new Anime shows and movies, talk about their favorite shows and Manga series, and show off their Cosplay! You don't need to register. Snacks will be provided.

Children, Tweens, and Teens welcome to The Youth Chess Club at Benton Branch! Whether you're a beginner or an advanced chess player, feel free to join this group. Chess boards are provided, but bringing your own helps!

We love having everyone come out to read to our therapy dogs, however we realize that some children may need more one on one time with a therapy dog in a calmer setting.

Whether a beginner or an expert, you're welcome to join our Crochet Club. If you're looking to try a new hobby or just hang out with friends while making cool creations, this might just be the club for you!
